Women's cross country junior Gracie Piekarski finished as Longwood's top runner for the sixth time in six races this season, placing 16th out of 30 runners at the Three Stripe Invite Saturday in Raleigh, N.C. Piekarski ran the 5K in 19:36.03 on a rainy morning at WakeMed Cross Country Course. Piekarski has clocked sub-19:40 5Ks in three straight races.

The Three Stripe Invite is the final tune-up for Longwood cross country before this Friday's NCAA Regional in Charlottesville, Va.
