Women's soccer senior Haylea Witz played all 180 minutes at center back in a pair of road matchups at No. 10 Virginia Tech and Western Carolina last week. Witz helped to hold Virginia Tech scoreless for 66 minutes Wednesday in Blacksburg, allowing the Lancers to tie the game in the 76th minute before the Hokies pulled out a late 4-2 win with two goals inside the game's final five minutes. She followed with 90 minutes of action in a 1-0 loss at Western Carolina during which Longwood shut out the Catamounts over the game's final 82 minutes.

Witz leads the Lancers with 428 minutes played this season while starting all five games.
