Longwood women's soccer senior defender Alana Mackey played all 180 minutes of the Lancers' two season-opening games at the Athletics Complex and was key in helping the team to an opening weekend split. The Leesburg, Va., native spearheaded a defensive effort that saw Longwood allow just one goal over the two-game set while shutting out American 2-0 and falling late to Youngstown State 1-0.

Now in the midst of her senior season, Mackey has started every game of her Lancer career.
