Longwood University Athletic Training

It is the responsibility of the sports medicine staff to provide the highest quality medical care for the student-athletes at Longwood University. The sports medicine staff consists of designated team physicians, the Longwood University Athletic Training Staff, Longwood University Student Health Center, Longwood University Counseling Center and various other consultants or specialists. The sports medicine staff will provide medical care for the student-athletes in the following manner: pre-participation medical exams, injury prevention, emergency care, and treatment for illnesses, injuries, and or conditions affecting the physical or mental well being of the student-athletes.

Pre-Participation Physical Exams for 2009-2010

All student-athletes are required to have the most up to date insurance card copied front and back.  IF the student-athlete is under medical care prior to returning to NCAA athletics, the athletic training department would like any physician notes, releases, and contact information.
